Spring and Summer Season (1 April – 30 September):

Garden / Exits	10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Autumn and Winter Season (1 October – 31 March):

In cases of extreme weather conditions, it may be necessary to close at short notice. Please check the information on our homepage before your visit: www.bo.berlin. Thank you for your understanding.

The exits close exactly at the time indicated above. After that time, it is no longer possible to leave the garden.

The Botanical Museum Berlin

The museum is closed due to modernisation until approx. 2027.

Catering

During the 2026 garden season, the Berliner Kaffeerösterei with its coffee truck is available for you on the sunny terrace directly in front of the greenhouses every Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. The café in the Victoria House and the Landhaus restaurant are currently closed.

Monday through Thursday 10am – 4pm. Please also refer to the information on our library website!

Holiday opening hours

The Botanic Garden Berlin is open on public holidays such as Easter, 1 May, Ascension Day or German Unity Day. Exceptions are:

The garden remains closed. Enjoy a merry Christmas Eve!

25, 26 and 31 December 2026
The garden closes at 16:00
All ticket offices and greenhouses close at 15:00
